String Modular Wall Unit in Teak | Bokhyllan "The Ladder Shelf" | Designed by Nils Nisse Strinning

This modular wall unit, called Bokhyllan "The Ladder Shelf", originally hails from the Caniglia estate (if you are an Omahan you know this name from some of Omaha's most famous restaurants).  Designed by Nils Strinning in Sweden in the 1950s, the "String" unit includes metal brackets and teak shelving and cubbies that can be configured according your liking. 

Some cool aspects of this design are the metal hinges that connect the shelves to the brackets.  The metal hooks actually lift up, so that they can easily set in place! The set includes a drop down desk (lock mechanism not included).  There is a slatted metal piece at a slant that is perfect for placing books, or magazines!

There is one cabinet with sliding wood panels and one cabinet with sliding glass panels.  There are four wood shelves.  Wall anchors included!

Orders of $1,000 or more are eligible for free curbside delivery in the Omaha area.  Curbside delivery within the Omaha metro is available for $50 for orders under $1,000.  Curbside delivery over 20 miles away is $100, and orders over $300 or more are eligible.
