This is one of 3 paintings by local artist, Ann Manhart Dirks, featuring a technique where she allowed a marble covered with black paint to run across the canvas.  Afterward she added the colors between the spaces of the marble run lines.  You could add one to a smaller wall space or create a series with all three!
